There are so many other hotels in the area that are so expensive and this Best Western is budget friendly, pet friendly and breakfast is a good start to your morning. Everything very clean, room updated and modern and everything in working order. We only stayed 1 night but we had a good night sleep. Stayed here for the first time while on the road traveling. We did have to pay for the service to mail it but that was not a problem to us. ALSO would like to add that we forgot an item in the room and once we figured out that that is where we left it the staff had it put aside and it was mailed to our home. Staff were very pleasant and gotcha in and out. Nothing was complicated about staying here. You do get a breakfast in the morning in the office area. We were unable to try the pool as it was still to cold. I always bring cleaners with me due to covid but i was very impressed that they made so much effort to make us feel safe. Sometimes its just the little things to help make you feel at home. When we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised to see the updated room. Pool was not yet open but they were working on it while I was there. but you can get them from the front desk if you ask.
They did not always replace shampoo, coffee supplies, etc. They have make the pre-made omelets, biscuits, gravy and sausage patties for hot food. There is a standard breakfast bar in the morning.

The staff was professional and efficient. I asked for a room away from the highway on my preregistration. Be advised you will need to drive everywhere there is nothing that is within walking distance. It is on a 5 lane road near several freeway ramps but I never had a problem making a left hand turn. There are a lot of chain restaurants about 2 miles down Tunnel road. The hotel is located 5 minutes from downtown Asheville and about 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge parkway. Downtown has something for all ages and The Best Western Asheville Tunnel Road offers a great location to explore and enjoy our wonderful city! Asheville is known as Beer City USA with 17 and counting craft breweries many of them located right in the heart of downtown. Downtown Asheville is two miles away and has more art deco architecture than any other city outside of Miami. We are located two miles away from the Blue Ridge Parkway, a great launching point for hiking and biking. Our Asheville hotel is located near America’s Largest Home, the Biltmore Estate and shopping at Biltmore Village is both four miles away. If you are here with the VA Hospital, UNC Asheville, BorgWarner, Thermo Fisher, or Volvo Construction you will be in good company.
Biltmore Estate hotels are known for their hospitality and you will find that same southern hospitality when you stay with us. We cater to hikers and campers who want to be more comfortable in between their legendary trips into the mountains. The Great Smoky Mountains are a short drive away and the Blue Ridge Parkway is close by.
Even though breakfast is on us you are never far from a great meal! We are located two miles away from downtown Asheville a great place to go and experience Asheville’s unique character and atmosphere.

Our hotel offers a free hot breakfast to all of our guests. Our newly renovated property is close to the Asheville Mall and restaurant row featuring over 20 different restaurants. Our guest's health and safety are always our number one concern. Also to ensure minimal contact we have developed contactless check-in and check-out. We have secured quality commercial grade cleaning products from our chemical vendors, and we are disinfecting/sanitizing all guest rooms and public spaces on a regular basis. Welcome to the Best Western Asheville Tunnel Road! We are taking extra precautions to ensure that we meet the guidance from the CDC and WHO on hygiene and cleaning.
